Municipal contract workers today gathered at Indira Park to protest for their rights. They were asking the Government to fulfill their demands.
About 200 contract workers started as a rally from Indira Park to mark their protest. After shouting slogans against the Municipal authorities and the Government, the workers went towards Assembly to take their protest the Members of the Legislative Assembly.
But their attempt was foiled by the police by stopping them. They were arrested the moment they started the rally towards Assembly to break in to.
