A staunch supporter of United Andhra, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy was put on the spot the other day when media persons questioned him on his repetition of the words 'our state'. He had apparently used the phrase 21 times while addressing a media gathering over Modi’s comments on Congress.
As the conference and the CM's speech progressed, Kiran Kumar Reddy reminded the Gujarat Chief Minister that Andhra is the best in implementing welfare and development initiatives. He also elaborated that Modi’s agenda was to only target Congress as he did not talk about public and national problems. Even Botsa mentioned separately that Gujarat was developed much before Modi was born, berating him for taking full credit for the progress.
While this speech continued, a reporter raised an interesting question, saying whether Kiran Kumar's use of 'our state' phrase will stand true, now that the state is being split. To this, he retorted, "okkatunna, rendunna, mana rashtrale kada." This opens doubts on Kiran Kumar’s stand on Samaikhyandhra.
