It is good news for the students who want to study in USA. There is increase in issuance of Visas to the extent of 43%.
US Visa Consul Jessey Walter talking at a meeting conducted by a private organization at Vadodara said that the Government of USA has taken a decision to increase issuance of Visas to Indian students by 43%. He said that the American Government issued more than 600000 visas to Indian students in 2012.
At present 100270 students are studying in America. Jessey Walter said that the increase in the number of visas will benefit the students who want B-1, B-2 and F-1 Visas.
Visa Procedure:
First thing is to get a valid Indian Passport. Admission plans to be done 12 months prior to the sessions which are conducted twice a year spring and fall seasons. The application of the students should be submitted along with GRE, TOEFL and any other required exams after consulting USIEF for the details of the institutions and selecting one of them. After paying the visa fee they should register for a visa interview which will be conducted at US Embassy. The students will get the information about the status of their visa whether it is issued or rejected from the officials after the interview.
