Madhusudhan Reddy and his wife were killed by unidentified miscreants last night at Kurnool.
As per the information received so far, Madhusudhan Reddy was a small liquor trader who hailed from Kothapeta. He is also engaged in the real estate and financing activities. According to the watchman at the apartments in which Madhusudhan Reddy dwells, two persons wearing sweaters and monkey caps asked the watchman about the flat of Madhusudhan Reddy who came back from his visit to Bethamcharla.
The miscreants first knocked the door of some other flat to get the reply from them that it was not Madhusudhan Reddy’s flat. Then they went to the right flat in which Madhusudhan Reddy lives and killed both husband and wife. The killers took away money, gold and valuables. The crime seems to be of professionals. After ransacking the flat they sprinkled water so that the sniffer dogs cannot find out to trace the culprits.
Everyone known to Madhusudhan Reddy including his close friends say that Madhusudhan Reddy did not have any enemies. He did not have any disputes with anyone. Even in the financing business he is not known for rude behavior usually money lenders adopt.
Till now the investigations of the police did not reveal any clues about the motive of the gruesome murder.
