CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has once again stressed his demand of united Andhra Pradesh. This time he went a step ahead and dared the Union Government to place the Telangana bill in the coming session of Parliament. Speaking to the media in his chamber at Assembly lobby CM Kiran said, “I challenge the Union government to place the same bill in Parliament then I would quit politics. Yes, I asked for three more weeks of additional time for debate on T-bill to point out all the loopholes and whatever I talked in Assembly has authentic information.”
CM Kiran also questioned the leaders in the voting of T-bill. “When they (MLAs) say Assembly has no right why aren't they ready for voting on the bill. There are over 9000 amendments to be made in the bill and every MLA has to talk in the assembly. So far only 86 of the them spoke and is this the opinion of Assembly?,” said Kiran. However he said he has no idea whether President of India will extend the time on T-bill or not.
These statements of CM Kiran are giving clear indication that he would quit Congress party and float a new one by the end of deadline of T-bill. Meanwhile the Telangana leaders are discussing about the CM post if Kiran resigns.
