It is a judgment day for YSR Congress party as it will take decision of the party's future plans in Telangana state.  Before the Dussehra festival, many Telangana YSRCP leaders questioned party chief YS Jagan as the party was in silent mode when compared to other rival parties. Few leaders expressed concern about their future and also party's and urged Jagan to take necessary steps to ensure YSRCP will work for the benefit of Telangana people.

Today, Telangana YSRCP will hold discussions about the future plans and according to the sources, we can expect a new chief for YSRCP in the state. Many leaders asked Jagan to appoint YS Sharmila but Jagan declined and opined that a Telangana leader would fit the bill. In addition to this, several strategies to re-build the party in Telangana, District level committees and many more are in pipeline for this meeting. Khammam MP Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy is in no mood to accept the lead role and formally informed YSRCP high command.

Nalgonda leaders Gattu Srikanth Reddy name is also in consideration for the chief post. However, many leaders are not seriously interested for the top chair. As per the insiders, YSRCP activist believe that Jagan or Sharmila can do justice to the party in Telangana. Interestingly, YS Sharmila who is staying away from party activities these days, will grace the Telangana meeting and this is giving speculations about her come back. So we can clearly expect a new leadership for YSRCP!
