After the Comprehensive Household survey, the government of Telangana is getting ready for another survey. According to the sources, the government is planning to conduct a survey regarding CM KCR's election promise of 2 bedroom flat to the lower income group and backward class people. KCR who visited Warangal district last month, received many petitions from the people for a pucca house while there were many petitions earlier. Last evening, KCR held a meeting with the officials of Telangana state Housing Corporation limited and decided to hold a survey.
The sources added the officials have already designed the sample application form and nod from government is awaited. A beneficiary should pass through this form which has 34 hierarchies, to get a grand from the government. Most importantly on the basis of Aadhar card and Ration card, the application form will be considered and then the form will undergo two phases of scrutinizing.
TRS party included in its election manifesto that it would be grant a 2 bedroom flat to the backward class people and accordingly the government asked a report from the officials. As per the report, it would cost the government around Rs 3.58 lakhs per construction and it would cost more in cities like Hyderabad.
