Special status: After YSRCP, now AAP corners Naidu

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) activists conducted a bicycle rally demanding the special status to Andhra Pradesh.

It seems, special status issue is getting viral day by day. It is known that, the Centre promised the special status before the elections. But after getting into the power, it is going on postponing the issue, for the several unknown reasons.

Basing this, there are several protests, fast and strikes, held by the opposition parties, against the state and central governments.

YSRCP officials are even cornering Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, for not able to force the Centre, for the special status. Jagan kept on saying in various public meetings that, Naidu is not able to force the Centre, only because of escaping from the law, as he was involved in the cash for vote scam.

AAP; Right party to corner Centre for special status!

Naidu maintaining mum on the issue, is even making the public, to believe Jagan’s comments. But being a local party, YSRCP could not influence the Central government, in the special status issue. But now, finally a right party has come forward to corner Modi’s government in the special status issue.

As expected, it is AAP. The party officials criticized Modi, for maintaining silence on the special status issue, on the Amaravati ceremony day. Regarding this, yesterday, they even conducted a bicycle rally, demanding the special status. The rally kick started at KBN College in One Town and ended at Giri Pradhakshina area of Indrakeeladri, in Vijayawada.

Speaking about the rally, AAP state leader, GS Phani Raj said that, they demand  Chandrababu Naidu, to force the Centre for the special status. “'We condemn the act of CM Naidu and Prime Minister on the foundation ceremony day of the proposed capital Amaravati. AP CM should come to the people and take their referendum on the needs and that of the special category status'', he said.

They even said that, they would even conduct the protest, for the enough special packages, for the underdeveloped areas in the state.

It seems, AAP is not only cornering the Centre, but even the state government. After YSRCP, AAP is going to be another great influence on the AP state public, for demanding the special status. So it should be seen, whether Naidu at least raises his voice now, against the Centre or not.
