YSRCP leaders are planning to raise the special status issue in the parliament, in the upcoming winter sessions.
From the time of bifurcation of the states, Jagan Mohan Reddy, as the Chief of YSRCP, is making protests against the Centre and state governments, for the special status to AP.
Though the Centre said that, it would give more special packages to AP, YSRCP leaders have opined that, as the states are bifurcated and Hyderabad was gone to Telangana, granting the special status, is the only alternative to save AP.
Though Jagan conducted several protests, strikes, bandh and even indefinite fast, there is no positive response from the Centre on the issue.
Finally, the party leaders are targeting the upcoming winter season parliament session meetings, which are going to begin on November 26th.
The special status issue is on the top priority in the list, to be discussed in the parliament sessions. Regarding this, Jagan Mohan Reddy, even assembled with a few of the MPs in the party building in Hyderabad. Reportedly, they have discussed all the possibilities, to pressurize the Centre about the special status issue.

Along with the special status, YSRCP is even planning to question the state government regarding the bauxite G.O and several other issues, faced by the people in AP, from the government.
After the meeting, YSRCP floor leader in Lok Sabha, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy said, “it is the responsibility of the Centre to fulfil all the commitments, made during the passage of the AP Reorganization Bill in the Parliament.”
He even busted on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, for maintaining mum on the special status issue, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited AP, for Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony.
Rajamohan Reddy said that, their MPs would even pressurize the Centre, in setting up of a separate Railway Zone, hike in the MSP for farmers and also demands to instruct the Food Corporation of India to procure paddy from the farmers.
