The BJP government clarified that there will be no special package for Andhra Pradesh which they promised during the last Assembly elections. However after our state MPs brought enough pressure, the BJP government stepped down and and announced Rs 1976 crores package in a single window. The central government released the amount and they clearly revealed about the allocation of the funds for various fields.

Rs 1176 crores have been allotted for the financial crisis of the state and Rs 450 crores has been granted for the construction of the new capital, Amaravathi. Rs 350 crores have been allotted for the development of backward districts of Andhra Pradesh. Arun Jaitley announced about the package for the media in the Parliament. The Central government has been finding ways to develop the state apart from announcing special funds and packages.
