Russia Says that its COVID-19 Vaccine is Recommended for 18 to 60 Years Old:- Russia announced that they are ready with the first coronavirus vaccine and it would be out soon. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the final clinical trials fetched positive results. The top Russian health experts said that the coronavirus vaccine is recommended for individuals aged between 18 and 60 as of now. The experts said that these clinical trials will be conducted for elder people at the earliest and they would be done during the post-registration of the clinical trials. The clinical trials are happening now on volunteers between 18 to 60 years.

With the results positive on all the volunteers, the health officials made it clear that the vaccine would work on the above mentioned age groups said Vladimir Bondarev, the head of the Russian Health Ministry's Scientific Centre for Expert Evaluation of Medicinal Products. Alexander Gintsburg, the director of the Gamaleya Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology says that they are quite confident that this vaccine works on people of all ages and the trials on other age groups would start soon. Russian health minister Mikhail Murashko says that the first batch of coronavirus vaccine will be ready in the next two weeks.
