A highly decomposed body of a person aged around 25 years was fished out by the Jeedimetla police from Ayodhyanagar nala here on Friday. Passersby noticed the body floating in the nala and alerted police.

“The youth was wearing blue jeans and a brown banian. We didn’t find anything in his pockets. Since the body was highly decomposed, we were unable to ascertain whether it was a murder,” police said.
