Congress MP Ponnam Prabhakar said on behalf of the Telangana Congress MPs that all of them are fighting for making the Telangana State a reality.  He also gave an old news item, as it has not happened till now, that Rahul Gandhi is going to have a special meeting with Telangana MPs as if the meeting with him is going to make major changes on the issue of Telangana.  

Ponnam said that the achievement of a separate Statehood to Telangana is their birth right and the fight will go on till it is acheieved.

The senior leader of Congress Party V.Hanumantha Rao said that the objective of Telangana Congress MPs is only to bring pressure on the High Command to decide in favor of separate Telangana State and it will be done till the last moment.  Is it so to look that the decision of the Congress Party will be the result of their efforts?

VH also said that the Congress Party has nothing to do with the Jagan’s corruption and money laundering.  

The plight of Telangana Congress MPs is understandable.  They have no say in the party and nothing to say back in their constituencies.  Their future is completely in dark.  If they leave the party they cannot survive and if they continue in the party still their survival is a big question.   But will such statements bring credibility to them? Is it not a face saving statement while groping in the dark?
