Rajamouli supports united Telugus, not united state

I don't know about the state, but the Telugu community should stay united, Rajamouli shared on his Twitter page. "Requesting again, lets not hate each other," the respected director lamented.

Rajamouli feels deeply for the state division, though not in a selfish way. He genuinely feels for the growing distance between the Telangana and Seemandhra people. That is why, he has also requested the government to split the state right away as promised or after the General elections.

The director has his heart in the right place when he says, “Politicians are playing a political game and media wants ratings, portraying only what they want.” The protests and growing hatred are helping no one. And Rajamouli rightfully said that we “stand to lose much more” if this continues. He even questions whether Seemandhra people are after the Telangana people's money or the Telangana people.

Andhra Pradesh state has already incurred heavy losses and maybe even loss of image as a bright and developing destination for investments due to the disruption to communal harmony. We may be growing apart and Rajamouli's comments have reminded us the same.
