The issue of KFC serving the rat instead of chicken, went viral on the social media platforms. 

Devorise Dixon, a US resident explained to the media that, he spotted a tail in a chicken pack purchased from the California outlet. “After making a proper inspection, I found out that, it was a rat which was fried”, he further added.
  
Dixon immediately took the issue to the social media platforms and posted a video on the subject. His Facebook post reads:

"It sent deep chills throughout my whole body! I’ve been feeling weird ever since. It's time for a lawyer, be safe, don't eat fast food!"

He later approached the outlet and on complaining about it, the manager apologized the former. However, “there is no such strong evidence that support the customer claims,” the officials said in the investigation.

In reply to a Facebook post KFC wrote: “KFC has made various attempts to contact this customer, but he is refusing to talk to us directly or through an attorney. Our chicken tenders often vary in size and shape, and we currently have no evidence to support this allegation. We have extended the opportunity to have an independent lab evaluate the product at our own expense, but the customer refuses to provide the product in question.”

Cases like these are not new for KFC. Previously, there are instances where few worms and lizards are found in the food they provide. More care should be taken when the first incident took place, but the continuous incidents are paving the way to focus on the negligence of the company.

However, even the company is aware of the punishment it suffers from the consequences, so it would be better, if KFC concentrates on every meal it serves to the customer.
