TS Govt To Protest Over Modi’s Anti-Slaughter Law:- Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s anti-slaughter law is creating waves across the country.

We have already witnessed the Kerala and West Bengal governments registering their protests over this new rule, and now the Telangana State Government too has joined the list.

For about 85 lakh farmers, the new law will be a huge burden for those who can not send the old, injured and unwell cattle to the slaughter houses, remarked the Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. Before bringing up such rule, the Center should have consulted the states, said Talasani.

Meanwhile, the Telangana government is planning to ask the Center to give exception to the old, injured and unwell cattle from this new rule, so that they can be sent to the slaughter houses, without putting a burden to the farmers.

Governments which are keen on Muslim Vote bank, are objecting the new law, as beef is the staple food of Muslims.
