The Whole Country Waiting For Narendra Modi's Announcement:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi imposed a lockdown for three weeks which is coming to an end by April 14th. Everyone expected that Modi would make an announcement on Sunday but there was no update on the same. Narendra Modi held a video conference with all the Chief Ministers of the country on Saturday and most of them suggested that the lockdown should be extended for two more weeks. States like Odisha, Maharashtra, Telangana and Punjab already extended the lockdown before the Centre made an announcement. Some other states are in plans to extend their lockdown.

It is speculated that Narendra Modi will make an announcement about the lockdown today. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal already said that Modi in plans to extend the lockdown. Several states in the country are divided into three zones: Red (highest risk), yellow (medium risk) and green (lowest risk). The Union Health Ministry already announced that rapid tests will be conducted starting from today across the country and the advanced steps are preferred. ICMR said that 40 vaccines are under development but none of them reached the final stage. The whole country is now eagerly waiting for the big announcement from Narendra Modi.
