Narendra Modi Responds To KCR's Request:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the Chief Ministers of Indian states for two days and collected the feedback from them on the coronavirus row. Telangana Chief Minister KCR interacted with Modi yesterday during which he triggered the discussion of imposing the lockdown again. Narendra Modi had an immediate no and he said that it would not be a wise move to implement lockdown in the country in this struggling time. KCR wanted Modi to issue a clarity on this as there are number of ongoing speculations about the fifth phase of lockdown in the country.
Modi said that the unlock period is on now. KCR also said that Modi will not take lockdown decision without talking to the Chief Ministers of Indian states. "There will be no lockdown in the country. The four phases of lockdown in the country are completed and unlock 1.0 is currently on. We are discussing what can be done in unlock 2.0" said Modi. KCR brought a clear picture about the number of cases in Telangana. He said that the death rate in the state is quite low. KCR said that their strong efforts for the battle against coronavirus would continue.
