AP Three Capital Bill Approved By Governor:- The Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan today approved the three capital bill for Andhra Pradesh which has been pending for some time. The CRDA cancelation bill too has been approved by Biswabhusan Harichandan. The government of Andhra Pradesh introduced the bill about having three capitals for the state. The bill got approved for the second time in the Assembly house which has 151 legislators from the ruling party YSRCP. The opposition party TDP raised objection for the bill but the bill was sent to Governor's house for approval. The government of Andhra Pradesh was waiting for the decision of Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan.
Biswabhusan Harichandan took ten days' time and signed the two controversial bills that are related to the capitals of Andhra Pradesh. The executive capital of Andhra Pradesh has been planned to be shifted to Vizag from Amaravati. The judicial capital was planned in Kurnool and Amaravati is named as the legislative capital of Andhra Pradesh. Biswabhusan Harichandan took the opinion of the legal experts before signing the bills. The opposition party TDP is demanding the bills to be sent to the Centre for approval but the government's move is yet to be known. YS Jagan who wanted the capital to be shifted to Vizag kept the process on hold temporarily because of the coronavirus pandemic.
