No lockdown in Telangana clarifies KCR:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today issued a clarification on the ongoing rumors that the state would head for a lockdown soon. KCR said that there are no plans for lockdown in Telangana and he asked the people of the state not to panic. KCR reminded about the state suffering huge losses due to lockdown last year. KCR also said that the schools and other educational institutions are closed on a temporary basis to curb the virus spread. KCR asked the people to wear a facemask and follow the social distancing rules.
"There is no chance of lockdown in the state. It is the responsibility of the people to prevent the spread of coronavirus. This can be done by following social distancing and wearing a face mask. All the functions and marriages that will be held soon should have people with limited attendance. I appeal to everyone to cooperate with the government in this tough time. The entire globe is currently suffering from coronavirus pandemic. Telangana state has better GDP than other countries and states. Telangana along with Hyderabad are the fastest recovering places of the country after the attack of the coronavirus pandemic" told KCR.
