Wearing masks is optional in Telangana from today:- The number of coronavirus cases saw a steep decline in the country but the nation continued to wear masks. The Telangana Health Department yesterday declared that wearing face mask is not mandatory in the state and it will be optional from today. The Director of Public Health and Family Welfare of Telangana, Dr G Srinivasa Rao informed the same. He said that it is advisable to wear facemasks in crowded places, hospitals and public places. The Hyderabad cops said that there would be no fine imposed if the masks are not worn in public places. CV Anand, the Commissioner of Hyderabad told that the orders of wearing facemasks lapsed on February 28th.

Dr G Srinivasa Rao also said that the option of work from home can be stopped fully and the TI firms can ask their employees to be available in the office. The companies and firms can work with full staff. There are close to 14,000 active cases of coronavirus in the country for now and the third wave came to an end. There are speculations that the fourth wave of coronavirus will hit the country in June. In Telangana, many districts reported no cases from the past one week and the new cases in the capital are quite few. The officials said that the third wave of coronavirus was controlled properly in the country. There are no deaths reported in Telangana for few days.
