ORR speed limit increased to 120 kmph:- The Outer Ring Road (ORR) of Hyderabad, which is at a stretch of 158 kilometres has increased its maximum speed limit from 100 kilometres per hour to 120 kilometres per hour. The eight-lane road has controlled access of four ways on each side of the road.
To date, first two lines were allowed with a speed limit of 100 kmph and the second and third lanes were permitted with a maximum speed limit of 80 kmph. The speed limit of the first two lanes has now been revised from 100 kmph to 120 kmph. Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited (HGCL), a wing of HMDA will follow up on the lane discipline and speed limits of the travellers on ORR to ensure a safe journey, they also issue alerts urging the travellers to follow the limits.

BRS minister KTR held a review meeting and has instructed Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) to ensure all the safety protocols regarding the new speed limits on the ORR.
