NTR's Rs 100 Coin Launched:- Telugu Desam party founder, legendary actor and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh NT Rama Rao’s commemorative of Rs 100 coin launch event happened today in New Delhi.
President of India Droupadi Murmu has inaugurated the Rs 100 coin featuring NTR in the presence of his family members. NTR's sons and daughters and also other family members were invited and were present at the occasion. Chandrababu Naidu, BJP Andhra Pradesh state president Daggubati Purandeshwari, Daggupati Venkateshwarlu, Actor Balakrishna, Nara Brahmini, TDP MPs Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, Galla Jayadev, Keshineni Nani, Rammohan Naidu, MP Raghurama Krishna Raju, BJP MP CM Ramesh, former MP Sujana Chaudhary, Kambhampati Rammohan Rao, Balakrishna, Ashwini Dutt, BJP National Secretary Sathya Kumar and others were presented at the event.
President Droupadi Murmu released the commemorative coin on Late Shri NT Rama Rao on his centenary year at RBCC. The Rs 100 coin is made of 50 percent silver, 40 percent copper, 5 percent Nickel and 5 percent Zinc. The coin is 44mm in diameter with an Ashoka Chakra on one side and with NTR portrait on the second side. The coin is marked with the years 1923-2023 to signify the centenary celebrations of NTR.
Jr NTR and Kalyan Ram were also invited to the commemorative coin launch occasion, but the actors skipped the event.
Besides this Lakshmi Parvathy, chairperson of Sanskrit Academy and AP Telugu, who is the second wife of NTR was not invited to the event. She raised a complaint against this, yet there is no use and no last-minute chances were taken like adding her name to the guest list.
