One more case registered on Chandrababu:- Andhra Pradesh ex-Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been targeted by the ruling government led by YSRCP. Several cases have been registered related to corruption against him. He spent 54 days in jail and Chandrababu Naidu was recently granted an interim bail. The Andhra Pradesh High Court asked the AP cops not to arrest Chandrababu Naidu for the next one month till he is on bail. Meanwhile, a new case was registered on Chandrababu Naidu related to sand mafia. CID registered against the veteran politician about the free sand policy that was implemented during his regime.

Cases are also registered against TDP leaders Peethala Sujatha, Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao and Chintamaneni Prabhakar. The complaint was lodged by Director, Mines and Geology, V.G. Venkat Reddy and Chandrababu was booked under the sections of 120(B), 409 r/w 34 Indian Penal Code (IPC), and section 13 (1)(d) r/w section 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. Sujatha was named A1, Chandrababu is A2, Chitamaneni Prabhakar is A3 and Devineni Uma is named A4 in the case. The case said that Naidu and his colleages are benefited big through this free sand scheme. This policy was implemented without following the due proceedures told the complaint. Earlier to this, a new case was reported last week on Chandrababu Naidu for granting permission to liquor companies.
