It is still early for X-Mas celebrations but Christmas is already in the air and shopping sprees have begun all over the world. For those who celebrate Christmas extra meticulously, the grand way there is something lurking in the stores of Tokyo Japan.

A revolving Christmas embellished by not candy sticks and miniature Santa dolls but with Disney characters like Mickey Mouse and Cinderella. That's however is not the most eye catchy part though. The tree is made of pure solid gold and weighs a whopping 40 kilos.

Premium merchandise like this always comes at a premium price but not this one. This one is being sold for a nominal price, relatively of course. If you have $4.2 million dollars to spare, the tree is yours.  Tanaka Kikinzoku Jewelry store's marketing manager says that this was actually a deal with the gold prices being very high at 4,400 yen per gram and a handcrafted silhouettes which took two months to complete despite 10 workers were on it.

The combination of gold and Disney characters had spectators mesmerized.

"It is very vivid and the gold is very pretty, the characters on it are also really cute and it really looks like a Christmas tree" one jewelery store manager said.

For those wanting a smaller version of the same can buy a 25 cm version of the same with 20 characters from Disneyland at $243,000.

The store said that the bigger version was not sold to anyone yet but the smaller version had already found several takers.
