Though dead, our loved ones memories travel with us throughout the life through their pictures, videos and all. But a French company felt that, these pictures and videos might not satisfy the people completely and so developed a unique way to substitute the so called pictures and videos.
A 52-year-old insurance saleswoman thought of an idea to capture and preserve a person's individual scent, so that, people would get an opportunity of travelling with their loved ones odour, throughout their life. She then contacted scientists at Le Havre University, France, who later developed a technique of reproducing the human smell.
She added, "We take the person's clothing and extract about 100 molecules of their unique body odour. Then in a distillation process that takes four days we reconstruct it in the form of perfume.”
The powerful link between smell and memory means the product offers "olfactory comfort", which she claims is more effective than photos, videos and other memories of the deceased.
The woman further added that, the technology will not just be limited to grieving relatives, but could also be used as a Valentine's Day gift between lovers or for children temporarily away from their parents to smell their loved ones.
By the way, the cost of each bottle is £500. Go get your loved one's odour and experience the magic, the rest of the life.
