A Chinese man named Wang Kaiyu was shocked, when he had come to know the two pets that he felt to be puppies since two years, are actually the bears.

Reportedly, Wang, who was fond of the puppies bought the two bears from a Vietnamese man two years ago, believing it to be puppies. He used to groom and bath them regularly. But when those so called puppies started growing older, the actual fact has come out.

They grew to 100 pounds very soon and started killing all his chickens. Wang came to know about the fact, after he read a Public Security Bureau pamphlet. Through that, Wang came to know that his pets are Asian black bears, which are Category 2 protected endangered animals. After knowing the fact, he handed over the bears to Yunnan Wild Animal Rescue Center.
