TDP leader Nannapaneni Rajakumari has created tension atmosphere at the assembly by sitting on a narrow wall of the assembly building as a mark of the protest for not letting them (TDP MLA s and MLCs) stage a dharna in front of Mahatma Gandhi statue. The police officials and TDP leaders pacified and persuaded her to come down. Nannapani, after a couple of minutes, came down stairs. The moment Nannapaneni was on top of the building, there were several reports mentioning that Nannapeneni was apparently threatening of suicide. It has to be mentioned here that TDP leaders staged a protest in front on assembly premises today.
TD leaders' today's protest was against the government's alleged insensitive approach towards power cut problems in the state. The party leaders this morning met at TDLP office and decided future course of action after which they marched towards Gandhi statue at the assembly. They were, however, obstructed, which made Nannapaneni angry. Can responsible leaders indulge in such acts is a rhetoric question.
