BMW Motorrad is trying to invade the Indian market with various models

BMW Motorrad is planning to rule in the Indian market with its upcoming motorcycle G310R, an entry- level naked motorcycle which has already created a huge buzz in the market. Within October 2016, BMW is trying to bring some more enchanting bike models for Indian bike lovers. For doing this, BMW is also working on the price of the bikes and that's why BMW is expected to leverage its made-in- Thailand offerings. BMW has a complete plant in Rayong, Thailand where they can satisfactorily assemble the cars and motorcycles.

When BMW assembles its F800R in Thailand then the price will become near about 9lakhs which is quite reasonable. Another eye-catching model of BMW is the S1000R. The price of this model is 23 lakhs when it is assembled in India while when it comes from Thailand the price is near about 14 lakhs for the same model. A biker who is looking for more speedy bikes then he can go for the S1000RR which is near about 16-18 lakhs. Another versatile motorcycle from BMW is S1000XR which is a serious threat for Ducati Multistrada.

BMW is also equipped with its traditional GS series and all GS bikes (BMW's F700GS, F800GS, R1200GS and R1200GS) are usually assembled in Thailand. The company is planning to offer rider modes and a more sophisticated traction control for all GS bikes and hence, all GS bikes are in upgradation stage. With these upgradation, the F800GS will surely give a tough challenge to Triumph's Tiger 800XC.

BMW is also planning to expand its dealership networks too and hence; they are planning to collaborate with their car dealers. With vast models, lucrative price tags and good dealers BMW is aiming to hit the market strongly and moreover, they also need to show their ubiquitous presence so that they can conquer the premium bike brands like Ducati and Triumph.
