Zimbabwe premier spinners Ray Price, Cremer bowled out Canada for a meagre 113 to win yesterday's World Cup league match played at Nagpur.

In response to a challenging total of 298, canada made an atrocious beginning losing three quickets in side the third over of the innings. Veteran opener Johnson, aged 40, the tournament's oldest player, was dismissed for a nought by the Spinner Price. Johnson's opening partner, Nitish Kumar, aged just 16, the tournament's youngest player, too departed for 1.

There was nothing great to talk about the abilities of latter batsmen. Gunasekera, Sukari and all-rounder Hansra were the only ones to have managed to got into double figures for Canada. Zimbabwe Spinners Price, leg-spinner Cremer got into the thick of action claiming three wickets apiece with two wickets each going to fellow spin attacks of Proper Utseya and Lamb.  

Batting first,Zimbabwe too began the innings on a disastrous note losing openers Chris Coventry and Brendon Taylor with just seven runs on the board. However, Tatenda Taibu and Craig Ervine played solid knocks of 98 and 85 respectively. The former captain, wicket-keeper Taibu narrowly missed a deserving hundred. Competent batsmn Williams in the company of tail-enders Proper Utseya, Cremer used long handle to help Zimbabwe add nearly 60 runs in the last nine overs of the innings,taking the team score to 298.

For Canada, spinner Balaji Rao was the most successful bowler with four wickets.

Taibu was adjudged Man-of-the-Match for his valuable score of 98.
