Pak beat India by five wickets

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, the newfound Indian sensational bowler had his dream run yesterday bagging three wickets in four overs while giving away only nine runs but the Indian teammates ruined his night with their batting performance earlier. Scoring just 133 while losing out almost all their wickets in the last few overs of the game, India had no hope until Kumar took the ball into his hands.

Fate however held the victory in favor of the Pakistan team as they raced to victory with two balls to spare and five wickets in hand, despite a horrible start to the game. Captain Mohd Hafeez and Shoaib Malik worked magic for the opponents as they scored 61 and 57 thrashing all bowlers to boundaries.

They could chase the modest target, but not without troubles which began with the dismissal of Hafeez slightly destabilizing the team. Kamran Akmal’s dismissal only added to the injury. Shoaib Malik in one delivery was given out but after Akmal’s request to check of the ball was a no-ball, the ball was declared an extra for being a little too high.

By the time it was the final over, all bowling options for India were already utilized. Jadeja who was given the ball stood no chance to change the course of the match with only 10 runs to score.

Indian batsmen fell like a stack of dominoes in rapid succession while managing only 56 runs in the second half though the start to the game was magnificent.

India already has lost hope for the first position in ICC T20 rankings. Will it climb to second or at least third position for this year?
