Facebook not Ready to Launch its Digital Coin Libra:- Facebook is not ready to launch its digital coin Libra till all the regulators are completely satisfied. They will do it once all the approvals are cleared. Under Facebook subsidiary Calibra, the social networking giant has planned to introduce a digital wallet for Libra. This wallet will be available on Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp. This was expected to be launched in 2020. Facebook is finding Libra as a payment tool rather than an investment.

"The Libra Association won't keep personal data beyond basic transaction info and Facebook won't share Calibra wallet info with the rest of the company," said David Marcus, Head of Calibra. Libra raises many serious concerns regarding privacy, money laundering. A letter has been sent to Facebook executives by the US Lawmakers asking facebook to cease all the development of its Libra cryptocurrency.
