Sometime back a young film maker-with full of hopes and determination-approached a dynamic hero with a script. Although the film maker, who happens to be a hardcore fan of the hero, didn't get a chance then. But, his dream came true when Pawan Kalyan approached him and asked if he could remake Bollywood flick Dabang with the title Gabbar Singh...and that's how it all started.
Harish Shankar, who calls himself a Pawan Kalyan fan before he tells he's director, created waves not in Tollywood but even in Tinsel Town with Gabbar Singh movie. The records of Gabbar Singh even shocked Hollywood film makers. And Bollywood is no exception.
Starting his career with Shock, director Harish Shankar always dreamt to work with Pawan Kalyan as the director says the main inspiration behind him becoming the director was Pawan Kalyan. Can you imagine as to how many times this director watched the films—Tholiprema and Khushi? At least thirty times in theatres!
Ready to make another 100 films:
Harish Shankar has now declared that he was ready to make 100 films with Pawan Kalyan. What else would be a biggest pleasure to a hysteric fan other than to direct a movie with his role model. Pawan Kalyan was a role model to Harish Shankar. During his college days, Harish Shankar used to imitate Pawan Kalyan and he said he couldn't get it correctly.
The young director has also said that Pawan Kalyan had to wait for 11 years to taste the success. After Kushi there were no major box office bonanzas for power star although all the films were well received by the audience.
Harish Shankar has said that he has prepared another script for Pawan Kalyan. If buzz is to be believed, Harish Shankar would soon visit Pawan Kalyan and narrate him the story. He, however, had apprehensions as to how power star would react after listening to the script.

Elucidating his experience working with Pawan Kalyan, director Harish Shankar has said that it was pleasure working with a star like Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan is the back bone of the film, added Harish.
