Pawan Kalyan raises safety concerns:- Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan on Monday expressed concerns about his safety and said some people attacked him with small knives during the recent rally. It looks like the Kalyan Party will contest the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh in alliance with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and the BJP. In an interview with party workers, the actor-politician expressed concern over attacks against him during public meetings.
Kalyan said that when a large number of people arrived to greet him, several men armed with knives entered the crowd and frightened him and his security team. He believed that these actions would be carried out by members of rival parties. At that meeting he also assured his constituents that he would make time to meet with his supporters. "Every day I call at least 200 members to take photos. When we follow certain protocols, during a large meeting some hired people come with small knives and cut the security guards and me. It happened recently...". said.
