The Kannada film 'Kranthi Veera Sangolli Rayanna' (KVSR), is a chronicle about Kittur Rani Chennamma. The Darshan starer KVSR has the magical touch of yesteryear glamor queen Jayaprada, an active politician now. Inspite of a robust political career, the actor took time off for this, which was her dream project. In her own words the actor said, 'It's been 28 years for me in the industry and every moment has been quite eventful. It has been a great experience working in the Kannada film industry since my first film, Sanadhi Appanna.' the actor was quoted from the audio function that was conducted in Bengaluru, recently.

Praising the young clan who have made her dream a reality, Jayaprada said, 'I congratulate Darshan for his dedication. In him, I have seen a brilliant actor. His dialogue delivery is excellent.'  

And about the project the actor in Jayaprada was all excited. She said, 'This film will remain in the golden era of cinema. I am glad filmmaker Anand Appugol came up with a brilliant film under Naganna's direction. The younger generation will know about Sangolli Rayanna through this film.
