Writer Kona Venkat is the newest addition to the crew of Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh 2.' The tinsel town folks say that Kona Venkat will be providing dialogues to the film and is currently working with director KS Ravindra [Bobby] on the project. Delayed by unknown reasons, 'Gabbar Singh 2' is yet to go to the sets and we might expect it shortly.

Eversince 'Gabbar Singh 2' was launched, it has met with many hurdles. In the course of time, Sampath Nandi who was supposed to direct it, walked out of the project and eventually it landed in the hands of Ravindra who made a good start with Ravi Teja's 'Power.' Anisha Ambrose will be the playing the female lead while Devi Sri Prasad will score the music.

'Gabbar Singh 2' is not the sequel to the original and it will be whole new plot. However, Pawan Kalyan will be seen as cop in the film. Kona has been waiting for an opportunity to work with Pawan since very long time and finally his wish has come true.
