Puri Jagannath started his career with Pawan kalyan by directing a super hit film 'Badri'. He introduced    Ram Charan Tej to the film industry with Chirutha and also directed Desamuduru with Bunny and delivered him a blockbuster, and it was buzzed that he may even direct Chiranjeevi's 150th film. So in some or the other way, Puri is always connected to the mega family heroes.

In the past, there was a news that Varun Tej will also be introduced in Puri's direction, and however that project could not materialize then and Srikanth Addala had grabbed that chance. But that movie could not help Varun's career, so this time he is planning to be back with a bang. Mega family is considering Puri to be the right person to give a super hit for Varun. Temper was thoroughly enjoyed by the mega family heroes and this is the reason to have this confidence on Puri.

At present Varun Tej is involved in the shooting of his film with Krish and Puri is about to wrap up the shooting of Jyothi lakshmi. After getting out of those projects, the duo are expected to work soon for a new project.
