When it is Winter, you immediately lock up all your thin clothes and take out thick ones. But if you love to wear thin clothes in Winter too, do it by putting on several thin layers. It can replace thick layer clothes and even allows you to strip off the layers, if the temperature climbs.

A 'base layer' can typically be a long johns, union suit, long underwear, or anything, that can provide a warm, light base to your Winter gear. Alternatively, wear fleece leggings with a pair of colorful leg warmers, which will also add your style statement.

There is a belief that tight clothes can trap the heat. But the fact is, the loose clothes allow for more insulation. Tight-fitting sweater dresses are just a fashion statement, but are not useful. Loose clothes give a leaner look.
