Bharatiya Janata Party is not making any hurried statements to indicate its possible tie up with TDP for fighting in 2014 elections. Because of the involvement of Telangana issue, BJP's Telangana leaders are talking against the tie up with TDP.
As BJP has different strategies at National and State level and also in the State different strategies in the two regions of the proposed divided States, the party is playing in a safe manner.
More over BJP is also watching the changes in the State politics to see whether BJP needs an alliance or not.
Although TDP chief Chandra Babu is commenting in favor of the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi now and then, a cautious move is made by TDP also in announcing a tie up with BJP. TDP is toying with the idea of joining Third Front at the center in which case it cannot join hands with BJP. Announcement of a truck with BJP will also may make TDP lose Muslim votes as Modi is still carrying the taint of communal violence in Gujarat.
Because of many issues involved at State and National level, BJP and TDP are keeping their decision open as a statement at this time may make their options close in other areas.
More over TDP is also assessing its strength in the State as the latest reviews showed results in favor of the party.
