Is Congress moving away from corruption?!

The Indian National Congress shortly known as Congress party seems to have learned a lesson from the recent polls in which they lost terribly. Specially its vice president Rahul Gandhi is trying to hard to give the Congress party a corruption image free and so he took initiative of bring some key bills. Rahul played a vital role in getting the Lokpal Bill to the Parliament and till the bill got approval from the houses he was after it.

Now the UPA government cancelled the much talk Rupees 3600 VVIP chopper deal with UK-based AgustaWestland  as corruption allegations have broke the Parliament house. The opposition took each and every account of the corruption allegations to the recent elections and blamed Congress for every failure of welfare scheme. But corruption occupied a top slot in elections and so voters voted against the Congress party.

Currently Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh is facing the heat of corruption and again Congress party fell into defence. But this time, Congress high command called up on Virbhadra for clarifications on the allegations. Satisfied with Virbhadra's reply, Congress is likely to back him and are getting ready to attack BJP for making repeated allegations and seeking his resignation.

Overall, clearly one can say corruption is presently playing a crucial game in Congress party now but is this move from Congress is only to win 2014 elections is something to be noted.
