Leaders getting ready to change flags

The bifurcation issue has hit the regional parties in Andhra Pradesh like anything and many leaders are making all arrangements to change their flags. Congress might get good number of seats in Telangana but it is likely to get washed away in Seemandhra region and only leaders which strong local support will get back up in 2014 elections. While, the devotees of Congress party from Seemandhra region assured that they will abide by high command decision but will they get re-elected in 2014 general elections is completely on their shoulders.

The Telugu Desam Party has two stands in Andhra Pradesh bifurcation issue but it is attracting its older leaders who jumped into other parties in 2009 elections. Currently many Congress leaders are looking out for TDP and are likely to join before 2014 elections. PRP MLA from Nellore Sridhara Krishna Reddy  who is currently with Congress has announced that he would join TDP in February. Also ministers Ganta Srinivas Rao, TG Venktesh and JC Diwakar Reddy are in talks with TDP leaders and might join the party anytime soon. Ex-minister Diwakar Reddy is already upset with Congress party and his brother has already joined TDP, rumors are in the air that Diwakar Reddy is re-thinking again and again as he is Congress since three decades.

Coming to YSR Congress party, it had flow of leaders when it was launched and now the situation is not up to the mark. YSR Congress which took a stand against bifurcation has no leaders to take up in Telangana region and in Seemandhra region it is completely relying on the sentiment factor of YSR.

On the whole 2014 elections will be very interesting as parties will face a tough situation.
