A woman software engineer working at the Infosys in Hyderabad today committed suicide by jumping from the fourth floor of her office at Gachibowli. The suicide created ripples among the software employees of the city.

Sahithi, who has been working at the Infosys since 2009, went to the fourth floor of the building used for vehicle-parking during the lunch hour and jumped to the ground. She was immediately taken to a hospital but she died on her way, police and employees said.

Colleagues of Sahithi said that she has been looking dull for the last few days at the work place but did not reveal anything about her problems to any one in the office.

Police said they have registered a case and are investigating.
