The bandh  call given by YSRC party in Tirupati in support of MLA Bhumana Karunakara Reddy has evoked low response.  APSRTC buses are plying normally.  The educational institutions are also functioning. The show vendors didn't roll down the shutters and public life wasn't effected at all due to the bandh call. A few YSRC activists were taken into the custody for trying to create tension atmosphere. Tight security has been beefed up in Tirupati to avoid untoward incident.
