TRS party called for a bandh on Wednesday (December 19), owing to the friction created with YSR Congress that led to various violent incidents in Warangal, yesterday. Protesting against a verbal duel between YSRCP leader Konda Surekha and TRS Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao, tension was observed between the  two party activists.

Initially the YSRCP staged a protest in front of the TRS office in the town. Later the TRS activists responded with a similar protest at the YSRCP office. Some miscreants pelted the YSRCP premises with stones damaging the windows.

YSRCP activists who protested to the miscreants activity entered into heated arguments with the TRS which later led into a violent situation. Police responded and dispersed the crowds after a mild lathi-charged. Owing to these incidents TRS called for a bandh in the city. (Wishesh AarKay)
