KCR's sensational move for Nagarjunasagar Bypoll:- After the defeat in the Dubbaka bypoll and facing the jolt in the GHMC polls, Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) is completely focused on the upcoming elections. Telangana Chief Minister KCR met various leaders and conducted review meetings about the bypoll of the Nagarjunasagar Assembly constituency. He decided to field a local candidate from the backward caste in the bypoll. The recent internal surveys are quite positive for TRS after which KCR took this call. He decided not to bank on the sympathy factor that did not work out in the Dubbaka byelection last year. KCR made sure that Nomula Bharat, the son of Nomula Narasimhaiah will not get the ticket from TRS.
Nomula Narasimhaiah passed away in December last year. KCR assured a nominated post for Bharat soon and explained him about the current situations. Three local candidates Peddaboyina Srinivas Yadav, Mannem Ranjith Yadav and Katteboyina Guravaiah Yadav are considered and one among them will be finalized very soon. Based on the internal surveys and reports, Katteboyina Guravaiah Yadav is expected to get the ticket from TRS and will contest from the party in the bypolls. Once the Election Commission announces the schedule, TRS will announce the name of Katteboyina Guravaiah Yadav. KCR staged Solipeta Sujatha in the Dubbaka bypoll and she was the wife of Solipeta Ramalinga Reddy. BJP showed clear domination in the bypolls. KCR is now extra cautious and is focused on Nagarjunasagar bypoll. Congress is fielding K Jana Reddy in the Nagarjunasagar bypoll.
