Sankara rao gets threatening calls

Textiles minister Sankara Rao said he has been receiving threatening calls from unidentified people since Sankara rao, threatening callsMonday evening after the state high court issued notices to the former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy and his partners on investments made in Sakshi daily and Sakshi TV channel based on his letters.

Speaking at a media conference in Hyderabad, the minister said that he wrote letters to the High Court on Sakshi investments before he became a minister. β€œI wrote to the High court on his investments before I assumed charge as Minister but I did not write any letter after becoming minister,” he said.

Explaining that he wrote the first letter in October and the second letter in November, the minister said that the high court took up the letters as sue motto petition since it was convinced that there is a prima facie evidence on the subject. He said he would bring the matter to the notice of the chief minister.

β€œIt is high time for Jagan to prove his innocence and the show-cause notices proved that the Indian law treats all citizens with equality,” said the minister, adding that he would not be cowed down by such threatening phone calls.
