Around 2,000 passengers who booked their tickets were affected. Though the Airline management informed the passengers on the hourly basis about the flight status still passengers were angry on the staff.

“The three options included passengers being accommodated on another airline’s flight on the same day without any additional fare due to IROP i.e. irregular operations; the second option was a full refund and the third was re-booking on Air Costa flights from Friday,” said the staff of the airline.

At Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad , some passengers got into arguments with airline staff. The blamed Air Costa staff of negligence who even failed to accommodates the passengers on other airlines’ flights. Late in the evening, the passengers were accommodated on flights.
