As the battle continues, two terrorists and an Army jawan were killed on Friday morning. The encounter took place between terrorists and security forces in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir.

The area has been on high alert as a part of combing operation launched to control any harm to the local people.

This comes two days after two terrorists were killed in Bandipora on Tuesday in an encounter in Hajin village of Bandipora.  

"A joint team of Army and police launched anti-terror operations in Sopore and Bandipora districts," a report said.

These situations only started after Indian conducted Surgical Strikes along the LoC.

Previously, when  Pakistan killed three Indian soldiers and mutilated one body, Indian army vowed to seek revenge and they did by killing Pakistan Army Captain.

The Northern Command of the Indian Army tweeted saying that "the body of one soldier was mutilated."

More details are awaited.
