Amazon Suspends Entertainment Chief Amid Harassment Claims:- The largest e-retailer, Amazon has announced on Thursday, that in the wake of sexual harassment accusations from a TV producer, it has suspended the head of its entertainment division, Roy Price (51).

A spokesman said, Roy Price was “on leave of absence effective immediately.” This move of the firm comes after Isa Hackett (50) told a leading news magazine that he had repeatedly propositioned her in July 2015.” Hackett is a producer for “The Man in the High Castle,” one of the studio’s highest-profile shows.

Hackett, the daughter of author Philip K. Dick, said that during the annual San Diego Comic-Con fan convention, lewd suggestions were made by Price in a taxi on the way to a party. According to the magazine, she says she had said that she was not interested and that she was a lesbian with a wife and children. But, Price persisted and even approached her at the party later and shouted “anal sex” in her ear.

Hackett said that Price’s behavior was raised by her with the studio executives. An investigation was launched by the executives, but, however, she was never informed of the outcome. The allegations came as actress Rose McGowan (44) rebuked Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos on Twitter. She claimed that her claims were ignored by the company, that disgraced movie mogul Harvey Weinstein had raped her.

McGowan said that Amazon was repeatedly warned by her about “HW”. She pleaded with the studio to not to work with the producer, but was told by an executive that “it hadn’t been proven.”

“@jeffbezos I am calling on you to stop funding rapists, alleged pedos and sexual harassers. I love @amazon but there is rot in Hollywood,” she tweeted.
