Hyderabad Metro Registers Record Patronage:- Hyderabad Metro has been inaugurated last year during November by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi between Miyapur and Nagole. The LB Nagar and Ameerpet corridor has been inaugurated by ESL Narasimhan couple of days ago. The newly opened route registered record paatronage of 69000 commuters on Tuesday alone. This took the total passengers to travel on Hyderabad Metro to 1.62 lakhs. This is the highest number after Hyderabad Metro rail started operations.

Initially, Miyapur to Nagole line attracted several commuters but later dipped down and has been witnessed decent foot falls on regular basis. The occupancy has been encouraging despite of the prices and other public transports available. However most of the commuters feel that Hyderabad Metro is the best platform if one wishes to travel away from pollution. The second phase of Hyderabad Metro is expected to operate soon.
